Teacher's mastery of English Language and Students' Academic Achievement in Higher Technical Teacher's Training College Kumba

 English is the only language of instruction recommended all Anglo-Saxon Universities Cameroon as over world. The same reality being followed by Francophone where teachers opposite must facilitate knowledge acquisition. purpose this study was to examine impact teacher's mastery on students' academic achievement at HTTTC Kumba. accessible population made up level 300 students and 600 I their departments participants included 20 francophone different departments, 86 64 from Kumba, through a random sampling technique. Instrument used for data collection questionnaire which designed students. then exported SPSS version 23.0 analysis. Findings showed that: There significant relationship between teachers’ ability write students’ Kumba; there reading Language if an accurate recall facts whose background French, will achieve higher better. Based these findings, it that teacher’s proficiency should be scrutinized prior recruitment they are serve English.
